European PhD course on Movements of the Human Eye: Theories, Methods and Practical Implications, 7-9 March 2007

SCOPE

In the recent years, methods of measuring eye movements have become more and more important in interdisciplinary research and practical applications. The course will cover the history of research in this domain, theories of eye movements and active vision and give an overview about current models in reading and scene perception. Theoretical presentations will be accompanied by in-depth practical sessions, including measurement and data analysis procedures with different eye tracking systems.

APPLICATION

For participation at the course please send an email containing your name and address/institution and a short statement about

  1. Interests with respect of eye movement research
  2. Experience with eye tracking (if there is any)
  3. Expectations from the course

REGISTRATION

Deadline for registration is 31st of January 2007. Due to limited resources (especially for the practical sessions) the number of participants is limited as well. A notification about the participation in the course will be sent by the 5th of February 2007. To cover additional costs of the course, a registration fee of 40,- Euros will be charged at the beginning of the course.
